Description
In 1978, Jean-Pierre andรย Josiane Orosquette decided to settle in the south of France, with a view to producing quality wines and so Chateau La Gravette was born.รย At that time, the Languedoc was still known as “the wine barn of France.”รย Many wines were of poor quality because high production was theรย priority rather than quality.รย
However, Jean-Pierre and Josiane, both from families of winemakers were convinced that quality ultimately in this area would be more important than quantity.รย They invested in the vineyards with a focus on agriculture raisonneeรย and produced less, butรย better wines.รย Today they are seem as one of the leading winemakers in the region for honest, quality priced wines.
