Description
The grapes for the Verdicchio Baccaloro from Laila Libenzi grow on the rolling hills around the small village of Corinaldo in the Marches. The wine is made under the direction of the top Italian winemaker Lorenzo Landi. After the harvest the grapes are gently pressed and the alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The temperature is kept cool and the whole process takes approx 15 days.
The result is a Verdicchio with soft aromas of citrus, white fruit and flowers. A light orange bitter finish in the aftertaste.
