Description

A classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the satellite region of Montagne St Emilion.

Maisone Neuve has grown it’s vineyards over the years and now has 72 hectares (62 in Montagne St Emilion and the remainder in Lalande-de-Pomerol and Pomerol). The family can trace its wine making roots back to the 16th century and they are fully aware of their responsibility for the land they manage and use practices of viniculture which are “sympathetic farming” with complete respect for the environment.

A bold garnet red colour with a rich fruit nose, hints of coffee that lead to ripe dark stone fruit and berry flavour with a great balance. Firm body and succulent finish.
