Description
The grapes of the Poderi Parpinello family business are grown on 35 hectares of vineyards spread over three different locations: 7 hectares by the sea near Castelsardo, 15 hectares near the coast near Lake Baratz, north of Alghero, and 13 hectares in the municipality of Janna de Mare between Alghero and Sassari. This is also where the winery itself is located.
The wines are enriched by the creativity, passion and experience that the family has gained in Sardinia over the last sixty years. The geographical diversity of the vineyards makes Parpinello wines so unique and valuable. They are characterized by freshness, juiciness, excellent structure and the important dowry of minerality.ÂÂ
The ‘Ale’ is a wonderfully clean orange wine with well-integrated acidity, subtle bitterness and an expressive scent of orange zest. It is made from indigenous grape varieties, mash fermented and aged on fine yeast for over 6 months. This creates a bright honey-colored wine with fruity, floral and balsamic notes, a balanced tannin structure and a delicate acidity.
